Filipino health workers na may kontrata na sa abroad papayagan nang makaalis

Papayagan nang makaalis ang mga healthcare professionals na mayroon nang existing na kontrata sa ibang bansa.

Ayon kay Cabinet Sec. Karlo Nograles na tagapagsalita rin ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectiuos Disease kung ang kontrata ng isang doktor, nurse at iba pang medical workers ay may petsang mula March 8, 2020 pwede silang makaalis ng bansa.

Hindi umano sila sakop ng deployment ban.

Kailangan lamang ayon kay Nograles na lumagda ang mga aalis na OFWs sa isang deklarasyon na nagsasaad na batid nila ang mga panganib sa paglabas nila ng bansa lalo at may global pandemic ng COVID-19.

Samantala, ang Department of Health naman ay patuloy na kumukuha ng dagdag na health workers para matugunan ang kakulangan ng mga tauhan sa local health care system.
