Pagtanggal ng travel ban sa health workers na may trabaho abroad, inirekomenda ng IATF
Inirekomenda ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Infectious Diseases kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na bawiin na ang travel ban sa mga health workers na may trabaho sa abroad.
Ayon kay Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, base sa kanyang rekomendasyon, maaari nang makaalis sa bansa ang mga health worker na may employment contracts sa ibang bansa.
“During the IATF meeting reconsidered the policy on the travel ban on health workers. Those with existing perfected employment contracts will be able to leave. I also sent a memo to PRRD recommending the lifting of the travel ban on health workers with perfected contracts. The IATF resolution is subject to the approval of the President,” pahayag ni Panelo.
Bagamat rekomendasyon pa lamang, kumpiyansa si Panelo na aaprubahan na ito ni Pangulong Duterte.
Lahat naman aniya ng rekomendasyon ng IATF ay sinasang-ayunan ng Pangulo.
“The President always approves the IATF resolutions. He has not disapproved any recommendation/resolution of the IATF. He stated in one of his televised message to the nation that he defers to the recommendation of the IATF,” pahayag ni Panelo.
Nagpapatuloy ang pakikipagpulong ni Pangulong Duterte sa IATF.
