Harry Roque magbabalik bilang tagapagsalita ni Pangulong Duterte

Babalik bilang tagapagsalita ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Atty. Harry Roque.

Kinumpirma ito ni Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo.

Ayon kay Panelo, siya ay mananatili naman sa kaniyang pwesto bilang chief presidential legal counsel.

Tuloy aniya ang pagganap niya sa tungkulin bilang chief lawyer ng pangulo at magsasalita pa rin siya sa mga usapin na may kaugnayan sa naturang posisyon.

“Yup Harry Roque will be back to his previous post. I’m still the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel. I will be performing the same role as the President’s chief lawyer and issuing statements as such. The present crisis requires a new track in messaging.” ayon kay Panelo.

Sinabi naman ni Roque na epektibo kaagad ang kanyang pagbabalik bilang tagapagsalita ni Pangulong Duterte.

Katunayan, may naka-schedule na siyang virtual briefing mamayang hapon.

Sinabi naman ni Presidential Communications Operations Office Assistant Secretary Rachel Queennie Rodulfo na balik sa dating pwesto si Roque na mayroong Cabinet rank.

October 2018 nang magbitiw si Roque bilang Presidential Spokesman para kumandidato sanang Senador subalit kalaunan ay umurong din.

October 2019 nang umalis sa pagiging tagapagsalita ng pangulo si Roque at bumalik sa kaniyang pribadong buhay.

Tatakbo sana bilang senador si Roque noong 2019 elections, pero February 2019 ay inanunsyo nito ang pag-atras na sa halalan dahil sa health reasons.
