Magnitude 6 na lindol tumama sa Batanes

Niyanig ng magnitude 6.0 na lindol ang bayan ng Basco sa lalawigan ng Batanes.

Ang epicenter ng lindol ay sa layong 37 kilometers northeast ng Basco.

Naganap ang pagyanig alas 12:44 ng madaling araw ng Sabado, April 11.

Ayon sa Phivolcs may lalim na 157 kilometers ang lindol at tetonic ang origin.

Naitlaa ang sumusunod na intensities:

Intensity IV – Basco, Itbayat, Mahatao, Ivana, Uyugan & Sabtang, Batanes; Calayan
& Pamplona, Cagayan
Intensity III – Tuguegarao City; Claveria & Sta. Ana, Cagayan; Luna, Apayao
Intensity II – Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; Lasam & Solana, Cagayan; Flora, Apayao

Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity II – Laoag City and Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte
Intensity I – Vigan City; Sinait, Ilocos Sur
