179 pang Pinoy seafarers dumating sa bansa

Nakauwi na sa bansa ang 179 pang Filipino seafarers.

Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) pinakahuling dumating ay pawang crew members ng limang Carnival cruise ships.

Ito ang Carnival Conquest, Ecstasy, Fascination, Legend, at Magic.

Magpapatuloy pa ang repatriation ng mga seafarers na naapektuhan ng krisis sa COVID-19 sa susunod na mga araw.

Aabot na sa nasa 5,000 seafarers ang napauwi sa bansa ng pamahalaan dahil sa paglaganap ng sakit na COVID-19.
