Bagaman pangunahing mandato ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang magsagawa ng maritime search and rescue, law enforcement, safety, marine environmental protection at maritime security ay malaki din ang papel na ginagampanan ng PCG ngayong umiiral ang Enhanced Community Quarantine sa buong Luzon.
