Philippine Arena sa Bulacan gagawin ding “mega quarantine facility”

Maliban sa labingdalawang pasilidad sa Metro Manila na inihahanda na sa para magamit na quarantine facility ay gagamitin din ang Philippine Arena sa Bocaue, Bulacan.

Pahayag ito ni Presidential Adviser for Flagship Programs and Projects at Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) President and CEO Vince Dizon sa Laging Handa press briefing.

Sinabi ni Dizon, magsisilbing isang “mega quarantine facility” ang Philippine Arena.

Ang Athletes’ Village sa New Clark City at ASEAN Convention Center ay gagamitin na rin bilang COVID-19 hospital.

Sa nasabi ring press briefing sinabi ng architect na si Dan Lichauco ang disenyo ng quarantine facilities ay ihahalintulad sa mini hospitals na mayroong color-coded nurse stations, disinfection at sanitation.

Gagawan ng enclosed rooms ang mga nurse para sa kanilang proteksyon.

Titiyakin din na magiging kumportable ang mga pasyente sa pasilidad.

May saksakan para sa devices, toilet facilities, at tubig.

Ang pagkain ay ihahatid sa kwarto ng mga pasyente.

Inaasahan na ang pag-convert sa Rizal Memorial Coliseum bilang quarantine facility ay matatapos sa Linggo.
