PICC, Rizal Memorial Sports Complex magagamit na bilang quarantine facilities simula sa April 10

Magagamit na sa April 10 ang Rizal Memorial Sports Complex at Philippine International Convention Center sa Pasay City bilang fully functional quarantine facilities para sa mga persons under investigation at persons under monitoring dahil sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, mayroong 700 na bed capacity ang PICC at inihahanda na ito ngayon ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa pakikipagtulungan na rin ng EEI corporation.

Ayon kay Nograles, ang Rizal Memorial Sports Complex naman ay mayroong 600 bed capacity at inihahanda ng PRIME – BMD o ng Razon Group.

Sa April 12 naman aniya magiging fully functional ang World Trade Center.

Mayroon aniyang 650 bed capacity ang World Trade Center at inihahanda ng ICCP at Ayala or Makati Development Corp.

“Together, these three structures can accommodate a total of 1,950 individuals. Salamat po sa ating mga private sector partners sa tulong at pagmamalasakit ninyo,” pahayag ni Nograles.

Sa pinakahuling talaan ng Department of Health (DOH), 2,311 katao na ang positibo sa COVID-19 habang 96 ang nasawi at 50 ang gumaling na.

“Our prayers are with all of them and their families––as well as the brave, generous health workers who are literally risking their lives to care for the sick,” pahayag ni Nograles.
