Operasyon ng palengke, supermarkets, grocery stores, pharmacies dapat hanggang 12-oras ayon sa IATF

Hinihimok ng Inter Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases ang may-ari ng supermarkets, public at private wet markets, grocery stores, agri-fishery supply stores, pharmacies, drug stores, at iba pang retail establishments na paabutin ng 12-oras ang operasyon habang umiiral ang enhanced community quarantine dahil sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, tagapagsalita ng IATF, ito ay para magkaroon ng mas mahabang oras ang mga mamimili.

“Local government units (LGU) are directed to allow such establishments to operate pursuant to the foregoing. Provided that in the operation of wet markets, LGUs are encouraged to adopt reasonable schemes to ensure compliance with strict social distancing measures,” pahayag ni Nograles.

Kinakailangan lamang aniyang mayroong specific schedule ang pamimili sa bawat sektor, barangay, o purok.

“Ang mga supermarket, palengke, grocery, botika at iba pa ay hinihikayat na i-extend ang kanilang operating hours para umabot po ito ng 12 hours. Pagdating po sa mga palengke, hinihikayat namin ang mga LGU na magpatupad ng mga nararapat na patakaran upang ipatupad ang social distancing, tulad ng pagtatakda ng araw para sa bawat sektor, purok, o barangay sa pamimili,” pahayag ni Nograles.
