Paglabag sa Bayanihan Heal as One Act hindi pwedeng retroactive – SP Sotto

Sumaklolo din kay Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto ang kaniyang tiyuhin na si Sneate President Tito Sotto III.

Ito ay matapos atasan ng National Bureau of Investigation ang alkalde na magpaliwanag kung bakit hindi siya dapat mapanagot sa batas dahil sa pagpanukala na gamitin pa rin ang tricycle sa kanilang lungsod habang umiiral ang enhanced community quarantine.

Sa kaniyang tweet sinabi ni Senator Sotto na papayuhan niya ang NBI na maging maingat sa pag-interpret ng batas.

Si Senator Sotto ay principal author ng Bayanihan Heal as One Act.

Paalala ni Sotto ang hindi pwedeng maging retroactive ang paglabag sa RA 11469.

“NBI will be well advised to be cautious in their interpretation of the law I principally authored. Any so called violation of RA 11469 can’t be retroactive!” ayon sa senador.

Una na ring sinabi ni Mayor Vico na tila hindi alam ng NBI na March 24 lang nang mapirmahan at maging ganap na batas ang RA 11469.

Ang panukala ni Mayor Vico na paggamit pa rin ng tricycle sa kanilang lungsod ay sinabi niya matapos pairalin ang ECQ sa Luzon.
