Pag-convert sa PICC, WTC at Rizal Memorial Coliseum bilang quarantine facilities sinimulan na ngayong araw

Umpisa na ngayong araw ang pag-convert sa PICC, World Trade Center at Rizal Memorial Coliseum bilang quarantine facility.

Kasunod ito ng utos ng Inter-Agency Task Force sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na i-convert ang nasabing mga pasilidad para magamit na quarantine facilities para sa mga persons under investigation (PUIs).

Ayon kay Public Works and Highways Sec. Mark Villar, inaasahang matatapos ang conversion sa tatlong pasilidad sa susunod na sampung araw.

Isa sa tatlo ayon kay Villar ay maaring mas mapabilis ang conversion at matatapos sa loob lang ng isang linggo.

Katuwang DPWH sa pag-convert sa PICC bilang quarantine facilities ang EEI at Villar Group of Companies.

Inaasahang kayang tumanggap ng hanggang 630 na COVID-19 patients sa PICC.

Ang Ayala Development Corporation at Makati Development Corporation naman ang magsasagawa ng development sa World Trade Center.

Habang ang Razon Group ang mamamahala sa conversion ng Rizal Memorial Complex.
