DPWH iinspeksyunin na ang PICC, Rizal Memorial Coliseum, at World Trade Center para magamit bilang quarantine facilities
Gagawin na ring pasilidad para sa pagsuri at pagsubaybay sa mga pasyenteng nagtataglay ng COVID-19 ang Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Forum Halls, World Trade Center (WTC) sa Pasay City at Rizal Memorial Coliseum sa Lungsod ng Maynila.
Inatasan na ni Secretary Mark A. Villarsent ang pinuno ng DPWH Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of Local and National Health Facilities Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain upang magsagawa ng inspeksyon at makipagpulong kina Dr. Leonita P. Gorgolon ng Department of Health (DOH), Architect Dan Lichauco ng UP-Philippine General Hospital, technical members ng DPWH Task Force, management officials ng PICC, World Trade Center, Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) at mga kinatawan ng EEI Corporation, Ayala Development Corporation, Makati Development Corporation at Razon Group of Company para sa naturang plano.
Dahil puno na halos sa mga pasyente ang mga health facilities sa Metro Manila, sinabi ni Villar na kailangang madaliin ang pag-convert sa PICC Forum Halls bilang health facility at magsilbing isolation space sa monitoring ng mga taong infected ng COVID-19 virus.
Samantala, ang World Trade Center at Rizal Memorial Coliseum ay dalawa sa mga tinukoy na maaaring i-convert bilang health facilities katuwang ang private companies.
Ayon sa kalihim, ang lahat ng construction worker na magtratrabaho sa tatlong pasilidad ay bibigyan ng accreditation ng DPWH.
