Itinakda na ang pagbubukas ng Tokyo Olympics sa susunod na taon.
Ayon sa Tokyo organizers, isasagawa ang opening ceremony sa July 23, 2021.
Idaraos naman ang closing ceremony nito sa August 8, 2019.
Matatandaang ipinagpaliban ang Tokyo Olympics ng International Olympic Committee (IOC) at Japanese organizers bunsod ng paglaganap ng Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
