Overseas voter registration para sa May 2022 elections, sinuspinde ng Comelec

Sinuspinde na ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang overseas voter registration activities para sa May 2022 elections.

Ito ay dahil na rin sa banta ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon, commissioner-in-charge Office of Overseas Voting (OFOV), ang hakbang ay para masiguro na ligtas ang mga Filipino sa ibang bansa sa COVID-19.

Inabisuhan na aniya ng mga embahada sa ibang bansa ang Comelec na sinuspinde na muna ang registration.

Hindi naman matukoy ni Guanzon kung hanggang kailan suspendido ang registration dahil depende pa aniya ito kung tuluyan nang mawawala ang banta ng COVID-19.
