Mahigit 50,000 COVID test kits na donasyon ni Jack Ma dumating na sa bansa
Dumating na sa bansa ang 57,000 na COVID-19 test kits na donasyon ng Alibaba Foundation ni Jack Ma.
Ang nasabing donasyon ay ibinigay ng negosyante si Jack Ma sa pamamagitan ng Manny Pacquiao Foundation.
Ayon sa Bureau of Customs-NAIA, tiniyak nilang mabilis ang pagre-release ng test kits.
“57,600 COVID 19 test kits from Alibaba Foundation through the Manny Pacquiao Foundation were released today, March 27, from the BOC-NAIA which are intended to assist the Department of Health in the fight against COVID-19,” ayon sa BOC.
Sinabi ng BOC na lahat ng importations na may kaugnayan sa patugon ng pamahalaan sa COVID-19 ay minamadali ang proseso ng release.
Simula noong March 9, 2020, nakapag-release ang BOC ng ng 1,616 importations at foreign donations na kinabibilangan ng medical supplies at Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
