PSG sinabing fake news ang kumakalat na impormasyon tungkol sa umano’y ipatutupad na total lockdown

Itinanggi ng Presidential Security Group (PSG) na sa kanila nagmula ang kumakalat na balita na magpapatupad ng total lockdown simula bukas March 28 hanggang sa April 15.

Base sa mga kumakalat na mensahe sa social media, kabilang sa isasara ang mga palengke at bangko.

Ayon sa PSG, fake news ang nasabing impormasyon at walang inilalabas na alituntunin ang PSG tungkol dito.

Tiniyak din ng PSG na iimbestigahan ang pinagmulan ng pekeng impormasyon.

“We will further investigate this FAKE information as we do not condone any malicous statement coming from our PSG Personnel,” ayon sa PSG.

Sinabi ng PSG na tanging ang Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging and Infectious Disease (IATF-EID) ang may kapangyarihan na maglabas ng mga opisyal na abiso at anunsyo tungkol sa ginagawang hakbang ng pamahalaan sa paglaban sa COVID-19.
