Itinanggi ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III ang mga alegasyong pinilit niya ang Makati Medical Center na gumawa ng hakbang taliwas sa polisiya ng ospital.
Kumakalat kasi sa social media na pinilit umano ng kalihim ang MMC na i-accommodate si Sen. Koko Pimentel at asawa nito.
Positibo ang senador sa nakakahawang sakit.
Mahigpit pa rin aniya ang panuntunan ng Department of Health (DOH) na lahat ng person under investigation (PUI) at person under monitoring (PUM) ay dapat manatili sa bahay.
“The public’s safety relies on everyone’s discipline in abiding by our quarantine protocols to protect the public, especially our health workers and frontline from undue exposure,” ayon pa sa pahayag.
Double-time aniyang nagtatrabaho ang kagawaran para masiguro ang pagpapadala ng mga suplay tulad ng testing kits, PPE, at iba pa sa pamamagitan ng National Task Force for COVID-19.
