Philippine Medical Association, suportado ang pagkondena ng MMC sa paglabag sa kanilang protocol
Suportado ng Philippine Medical Association o PMA ang pagkondena ng Makati Medical Center o MMC sa paglabag sa kanilang protocol kasabay ng banta ng COVID-19.
Ito ay matapos pumunta si Sen. Koko Pimentel sa ospital para puntahan ang buntis na asawa.
“The Philippine Medical Association is one with the doctors and nurses of the Makati Medical Center whose health, if not their lives, were placed aat risk when Senator Koko Pimentel ignored the COVID-19 protocol of the hospital,” ayon sa PMA.
Nauunawaan naman anila ang pag-aalala ng senador sa kaniyang asawa.
Ngunit, iginiit ng PMA na dapat mas inisip ng senador ang kapakanan ng health workforce sa ospital na lumalaban sa gitna ng COVID-19 scare.
“Publicly known is the already dwindling number of frontline doctors and nurses and we could not afford more of this to happen,” dagdag pa ng PMA.
Kasunod nito, hinikayat ng PMA ang mga opisyal ng gobyerno na iwasan ang pagnanais na mabigyan ng VIP treatment at sundin ang mga protocol para sama-samang labanan ang nakakahawang sakit.
