Total lockdown sa isang barangay sa Baguio City iniutos ni Mayor Magalong

Ipinag-utos ni Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong ang pagpapatupad ng lockdown sa isang barangay sa lungsod.

Ito ay matapos na mabigo ang mga opisyal ng Barangay Pinget na ipatupad ang Enhanced Community Quarantine measures sa kanilang nasasakupan.

Sinabi ni Magalong na nagpatuloy ang pagpapakalat-kalat at paglabas-labas ng mga residente sa nasabing barangay kahit may deklarasyon na ng ECQ.

“We found out today that some residents continue to loiter around and do not adhere to the prescribed physical distancing,” ayon sa alkalde.

Binalaan pa ni Magalong ang mga opisyal ng barangay pero nagpatuloy sa paglabag ang mga residente nito.

Ayon kay City Police Director Allen Rae Co ipinatupad ang lockdown sa barangay simula alas 6:30 ng gabi ng Miyerkules (March 25).

Sinaraduhan ang mga entry at exit points sa barangay at naglagay ng checkpoints.

Sinabi ni Co na wala nang papayanang makapasok at malakabas ng barangay.
