Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center, hindi na rin muna tatanggap ng COVID-19 patients

Nag-anunsiyo na rin ang Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center na hindi na muna sila tatanggap ng COVID-19 patients o persons under investigation (PUIs).

Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng pamunuan ng ospital na puno na ang COVID wards.

Hindi na rin anila sapat ang test kits at personal protective equipment (PPE) sa ospital.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has placed the resources, manpower, and medical personnel of the CGHMC in a critical situation,” dagdag pa nito.

Dahil dito, hinikayat ng CGHMC na pumunta sa COVID designated hospitals at iba pang pasilidad.

“Admitiing patients without the necessary equipment and manpower may subject patients to more harm than good. Furthermore, it may also subject patients at an even higher risks of getting infected,” ayon sa ospital.

Sinabi naman ng CGHMC na magsasagawa sila ng assessment araw-araw para malaman kung maaari nang alisin ang nasabing abiso.

Umaasa rin ang ospital na agad maibabalik ang manpower at equipment para maging normal muli ang kanilang operasyon.

24 oras pa rin naman anilang bukas ang Emergency Room ng ospital para ma-accommodate ang mga pasyente na may iba pang emergency medical concerns.
