Sports facilities, PICC dapat gamitin bilang COVID-19 Isolation Centers – Sen. Pangilinan

Iminungkahi ni Senator Francis Pangilinan na gamitin ng isolation centers ang ilang sports facilities sa Metro Manila, maging ang Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

Aniya ang Rizal Memorial at Ultra ay maaring paglagyan ng mga may banayad na sintomas ng COVID-19 o ang mga itinuturing na persons under investigation (PUI).

Sinabi pa ng senador na ang mga military hospital, tulad ng V. Luna Medical Center at Veterans Memorial Medical Center, maging ang Quezon Institute ay dapat buksan na rin sa mga kidney patients na kailangan magpa-dialysis, maging sa mga cancer patients at emergency cases.

“Ngayon pa lang, napupuno na ang mga ospital at lumalaki ang kailangang espasyo para sa mga pasyente,” sabi pa ni Pangilinan.

Paliwanag pa nito, ang kanyang mga mungkahi ay para sa maayos na pagtupad ng health protocols ng DOH.
