Nagsagawa ng pagsalakay ang mga tauhan ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology sa Central Visayas sa Cebu City Jail, Lunes ng umaga.
Nasabat sa isinagawang raid ang mga drug paraphernalia at mga personal appliances ng mga bilanggo.
Ayon kay Chief Supt. Allan Iral, director ng BJMP Central Visayas kabilang sa mga nasabat ang mga tooters at lighters.
Narekover din ang ilang television sets, speakers at mga improvised bladed weapons.
Maliban sa Cebu City Jail nagsagawa din ng pagsalakay sa mga city jail ng Mandaue at Lapu-lapu.
Ayon kay Iral, isinasagawa nila ang surprise greyhound operation sa mga bilangguan para malinis ang mga kulungan sa mga ipinagbabawal na gamit.
