St. Luke’s Medical Center sa QC, BGC hindi muna tatanggap ng COVID-19 patients

Inanunsiyo ng pamunuan ng St. Luke’s Medical Center sa Quezon City at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) na hindi muna sila tatanggap ng COVID-19 patients.

Paliwanag nito, umabot na sa maximum capacity ang parehong ospital.

“Both hospitals have already exceeded maximum capacity and admitting more COVID-19 patients will seriously impact our ability to deliver the critical level of care and attention patients need at this time,” dagdag pa ng pamunuan ng ospita.

Sinabi ng ospital na ayaw nilang makompromiso ang lagay ng kondisyon ng iba pa nilang ginagamot na non-COVID patients sa ibang palapag ng ospital.

Sa ngayon, mayroon aniyang naka-admit na 48 na pasyenteng mayroong COVID-19, 139 ang person under investigation (PUI).

Nakasailalim naman anila sa quarantine ang nasa 592 na frontline health workers ng ospital.

Sa ngayon, tuloy pa rin naman anila ang outpatient COVID-19 testing.

“We send the collected specimen for testing to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM),” ayon sa ospital.

Bukas pa rin anila nang 24 oras ang kanilang Emergency Rooms para mag-accommodate ng mga pasyente para sa outpatient medical services.
