DOH, nilinaw na walang polisiya hinggil sa VIP treatment sa COVID-19 testing
Nilinaw ng Department of Health (DOH) na walang polisiya hinggil sa VIP treatment sa Coronavirus Disease o COVID-19 testing.
Ayon sa kagawaran, ang criteria sa pagsusuri sa lahat ng pasyente ay sinusunod sa screening protocols.
Kasunod ng update sa screening protocols noong March 16, ang tanging maaaring sumailalim sa COVID-19 test ay ang mga sumusunod:
– Person under investigation (PUI) na mayroong mild symptoms na may edad na, may karamdaman, immunocompromised
– Naka-admit na PUI na may malala at kritikal na kondisyon.
Tiniyak naman ng DOH sa publiko na lahat ng specimen ay pinoproseso sa “first-in, first-out” basis.
“These are extraordinary times, but we are hopeful that with the arrival of 100,000 testing kits and accreditation of additional sub-national laboratories and dedicated COVID-19 referral hospitals, more cases will be detected and appropriately managed,” dagdag ng kagawaran.
