Pagbangon ng ekonomiya ng bansa matapos ang COVID-19 hindi magiging mahirap

Tiwala si House Committee on Ways and Means chairman Joey Salceda na madali ang magiging pagbangon ng ekonomiya ng ekonomiya ng bansa oras na matapos na ang krisis dulot ng coronavirus disease o COVID-19.

Ito ayon sa mambabatas ay dahil sa naging pagtugon ng pamahalaan lalo na ang pagpapatupad ng enhanced community quarantine sa Luzon bilang hakbang para maiwasan ang pagkalat pa ng COVID-19 sa bansa.

Magiging mas mabilis anya ang growth rate ng gross domestic product (GDP) ng Pilipinas na three percent kumpara sa ibang mga bansa sa mundo.

Kung hindi kasi ipinatupad ang community quarantine, posibleng babagsak ng 2.27 percent ang GDP ng Pilipinas dahil tinatayang aabot sa P1.157 trillion ang mawawakala sa gobyerno, na posibleng magresulta sa recession.

Kaya mahalaga ayon kay Salceda na pansamantalang pigilan muna ang pagtakbo ng ekonomiya upang sa gayon hindi na lumala pa ang sitwasyon sa Pilipinas.
