Kumalakat na balita na magpapatupad ng nationwide lockdown itinanggi ng Malakanyang

Peke ang balitang kumakalat na magpapatupad ng nationwide lockdown dahil sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo, isa itong fake news at fake information at wala itong katototohan.

“Absolutely not true. Stop believing false news and information,” ayon kay Panelo.

Base sa mga kumalakat na dokumento na may kalakip pang proclamation order na pirmado ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, ay mag-aanunsyo ang palasyo ng nationwide lockdown.

Sasakupin umano ng lockdown ang lahat ng wet markets at irarasyon na lamang ang pagkain sa bahay-bahay kada ikatlong araw.

Sa panig ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, ang mga nagpapakalag ng fake news ang dapat na i-disinfect.

Mas mabilis aniyang kumakalat ang mga nasa likod ng fake news kaysa sa toong virus.

“Those who spread fake news should have themselves disinfected. They are now moving faster than the virus itself. The virus is worried and sees them as competitors and is now looking for them. Watch out!” pahayag ni Medialdea.

Ayon naman kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, fake news ang naturang balita.

Sa panig ni Senador Christopher Bong Go, sinabi nito na classic example ito ng fake news na hindi nakatutulong sa problema.

“Classic example again of fake news. Hindi nakakatulong. Dagdag na naman sa mga iisipin ng kababayan natin at dagdag sa problema. pabigat at hindi nakakatulong. Please quarantine their mouth,” pahayag ni Go.

Sa ngayon umiiral ang enhanced community quarantine sa Luzon at tatagal ng hanggang April 12.
