TESDA, gumawa ng higit 17,000 face masks para sa COVID-19 frontliners

Gumawa ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) ng mahigit 17,000 face masks para sa COVID-19 frontliners.

Ito ay matapos maglabas ng memorandum si TESDA Director General, Secretary Isidro Lapeña para hikayatin ang mga training institution na mayroong registered programs sa Dressmaking NC II na agad magsimula ng paggawa at pag-distribute ng face masks.

Umabot sa kabuuang 17,866 ang nagawang face masks ng mga eskwelahan at training center ng TESDA sa buong mundo.

Ayon pa kay Lapeña, ito ang naisip na paraan ng ahensya para mapunan ang napapaulat na kakulangan ng face mask sa bansa.

Libre aniya itong ipinamamahagi para sa mga higit na nangangailangan.
