COVID-only hospital sa Visayas at Mindanao pinatutukoy sa DOH

Hiniling ni dating Health secretary at ngayon ay Senior Deputy Minority Leader Iloilo Janette Garin sa Department of Health (DOH) na magtakda na rin ng mga ospital sa Visayas at Mindanao na ilalaan lamang para sa mga COVID-19 patients.

Ito ay matapos na ginawa ng DOH bilang COVID-19 hospotals ang Philippine General Hospital at Dr. Jose Rodriguez Memorial (Tala) hospital sa gitna nang patuloy na pagtaas ng bilang ng mga nagpositibo sa sakit.

Anya, para maagapan ang tuluyang pagdami naman ng COVID-19 cases sa probinsya, inirekominda ni Garin na ihanda na ang mga Sanitarium Hospitals noon at i-convert na bilang General Hospitals.

Kabilang na aniya rito ang Bicol Sanitarium, West Visayas Sanitarium, Culion Hospital Palawan, Eversly Hospital Cebu, Mindanao Central Sanitarium, Sulu Sanitarium at Cotabato Sanitarium, pati na rin ang Labuan Public Hospital at Zamboanga Schistomiasis Hospital.

Ang mga pasyente aniya sa mga ospital na ito ay kailangan munang mailipat sa DOH Regional Hospitals upang sa gayon ay matututukan yung ibang pasyenteng walang COVID.
