March bill dapat i-waive na lang ng Meralco – Colmenares
Sa halip na bill payment extension lamang dapat ay i-waive na ng Meralco ang bayarin ng kanilang customers para sa buwan ng Marso.
Ayon kay Bayan Muna Chairman Neri Colmenares, pwedeng i-waive ang March bill sa pamamagitan ng P29.6 billion na refund na overrecovery ng Meralco sa taunang distribution charges.
“It would be better if these utilities especially Meralco to altogether waive their collections for this month. Besides Meralco has to refund P29.6 Billion for overrecovery of allowed annual distribution charges to consumers from 2013 to 2018,” ayon kay Colmenares.
Sinabi ni Colmenares na dapat itong tignan ng kongreso.
Magugunitang sinabi ng Meralco na magbibigay sila ng extension sa pagbabayad ng bill ng kanilang consumers.
Batid kasi nilang mahirap para sa consumer ang magbayad ng bill sa ngayon dahil sa umiiral na lockdown.
