Libreng alcohol mula sa San Miguel Corp., nagsimula nang i-deliver sa COVID-19 frontliners

Sinimulan na ng San Miguel Corporation (SMC) ang pag-deliver ng mga libreng rubbing alcohol para sa mga COVID-19 frontliner sa Metro Manila.

Ayon kay SMC president Ramon Ang, sa tulong ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at kanilang mga empleyado, gumawa sila ng alcohol para makatulong sa mga doktor, nurse at sa lahat ng frontliners sa paglaban sa nakakahawang virus.

“This alcohol is ready-to-use, gentle on skin and is as effective as any regular rubbing alcohol. They also come in containers that can be returned and refilled, so that we minimize plastic wastes,” pahayag ni Ang.

Ipapadala ang nagawang mga suplay ng alcohol sa Department of Health (DOH).

Maliban dito, magpapadala rin ang kumpanya ng mga alcohol sa iba’t ibang ospital sa Metro Manila.

– Valenzuela Medical Hospital
– Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center
– Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital
– jose Reyes Memorial Hospital

Namigay din ang kumpanya ng mga libreng alcohol sa: – National Center for Mental Health
– Research Institute for Tropical Medicine
– Rizal Medical Center
– San Lorenzo Hospital
– Tondo Medical Center
– Capitol Medical Center
– Ospital ng Muntinlupa
– Makati Medical Center
– Asian Hospital
– UST Hospital
– Ospital ng Maynila.

Dagdag pa ng SMC, magbibigay din ng mga alcohol sa 12 itinalagang checkpoints na minamanduhan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) kasunod ng ipinatupad na enhanced community quarantine sa Luzon.

“We have just started implementation of this initiative, but we assure you, we will continue to provide this service to the government so we can help more hospitals and communities,” dagdag ni Ang.

Maliban sa libreng alcohol, nagpadala rin ang SMC ng food donations sa local government units sa Metro Manila para makatulong sa pamimigay ng pagkain sa mga apektadong komunidad ng quarantine period.

Sinimulan na rin ng kumpanya ang produksyon ng nutrient-packed nutribun-inspired bread upang makatulong sa charitable institutions at mga komunidad.
