MMDA, maglulunsad ng mobile application para sa Pasig Ferry System
Isang mobile application ang ilulunsad ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) sa susunod na Linggo na nagpapakita ng daily scheduled trips ng Pasig River Ferry System.
Ayon kay MMDA Chair Emerson Carlos sa nasabing mobile app ay pakikinabangan ng mga ferry boat riders maging ng mga nagnanais na gawing alternate mode of transport ang Pasig River Ferry System.
“With the app, commuters can now check the estimated time of arrival and departure of the ferries at the 12 stations along the Pasig River,” ani MMDA Chair Emerson Carlos.
Sa tala ng MMDA tumaas ng limangdaang mula sa 100 na pasehero nung nakalipas na mga buwan ang tumatangkilik sa Pasig Ferry system.
Ayon kay MMDA Pasig Ferry head Rod Tuason, patuloy na dumadami ang tumatangkilik sa ferry boats kumpara sa mga bus at iba pang klase ng transportasyon dahil makukuha lamang ng 45 minutes ang biyahe sa pasig river mula pasig city hanggang manila kumpara sa dalawang oras kung sasakay ng bus.
