Price Freeze sa LPG at kerosene ipinaalala ng DOE

Nagpalabas ng abiso ang Department of Energy (DOE) tungkol sa ipinatutupad na price freeze sa liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) o cooking gas at kerosene.

Sa abiso, epektibo ang price freeze ng 15 araw simula ng deklarasyon ng State of Calamity sa ibat-ibang lugar sa Metro Manila, at ilang bahagi ng Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao.

Unang nagdeklara ang Quezon City noong Marso 13.

Paalala lang ng DOE habang epektibo ang price freeze, walang magiging pagtaas sa halaga ng gaas at LPG, ngunit maaring bumaba naman ang presyo ng mga ito.

Una nang tiniyak ng Energy Sec. Alfonso Cusi na magkakaroon ng koordinasyon ang kanyang tanggapan sa mga stakeholders para hindi maantala ang suplay ng mga produktong petrolyo at kuryente habang kinahaharap ng bansa ang panganib na dulot ng COVID-19.
