Operasyon ng DFA consular offices sa Metro Manila, nilimitahan mula March 16 hanggang April 14

Nilimitahan ang operasyon ng consular offices ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa Metro Manila.

Kabilang dito ang consular offices sa NCR-West, NCR-East, NCR-South, NCR-Northeast, NCR-Central, NCR-North at maging sa ASEANA Business Park sa Parañaque City.

Sa abiso ng DFA, pansamantalang mag-ooperate ang consular offices nang may skeletal workforce.

Magbibigay din anila ng consular services only sa mga indibidwal na mayroong urgent needs tulad ng mga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) at mayroong medical cases mula March 16 hanggang April 14, 2020.

Sinabi ng kagawaran na ito ay bahagi ng pagtalima sa Stringent Social Distancing Measures sa National Capital Region (NCR) na ipinatupad ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) simula March 15.

Narito ang schedule ng operasyon ng mga sumusunod na DFA consular office sa NCR:

– DFA CO in NCR-Central (Robinson’s Galleria): mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 2:00 ng hapon tuwing Lunes hanggang Biyernes
– Ibang consular office sa Metro Manila: mula 11:00 ng umaga hanggang 5:00 ng hapon tuwing Lunes hanggang Biyernes
– DFA Office of Consular Affairs sa ASEANA Business Park: mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 2:00 ng hapon tuwing Lunes hanggang Biyernes

Inabisuhan naman ng DFA ang publiko na wala na munang operasyon ang consular offices sa buong bansa tuwing Sabado simula sa March 21.

“Until further notice” anila itong epektibo.

“Also in accordance with the directives of the IATF-EID resolution on social distancing to minimize the possible transmission of the virus, applicants who have no urgent need for consular services, including those with confirmed passport appointments, are requested to defer their visits to these Consular Offices until the community quarantine period ends,” dagdag ng kagawaran.

Maaari namang ma-accomodate ang passport applicants na may kumpirmadong appointments mula March 9 at hindi nakapagpunta dahil sa COVID-19 concerns at community quarantine.

Maaaring maproseso ang kanilang aplikasyon mula April 15 hanggang May 29, 2020 tuwing regular office hours maliban tuwing Sabado.

“Likewise, those seeking Authentication and Civil Registration services are also advised to avail of these services after the same period,” ayon pa sa DFA.

Maari namang dumulog sa kagawaran ang sinumang may karagdagang katanungan sa pamamagitan ng e-mail [email protected] o tumawag sa numerong 8651 9400.
