Sta. Rosa, Laguna nakapagtala ng unang kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19

Kinumpirma ni Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez ang isang kumpirmadong kaso ng Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) sa probinsya.

Ayon kay Hernandez, naitala ang kaso ng COVID-19 sa bayan ng Sta. Rosa.

Kinumpirma aniya mismo ito ng Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).

Kasunod nito, nagsasagawa na aniya ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Laguna at Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Sta. Rosa ng contact tracing at validation sa mga nakasalamuha ng pasyente sa nakalipas na 14 araw.

Hiniling naman ng gobernador ang pakikiisa ng mga residente ng Laguna para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng virus.
