Pilipinas, nakatanggap ng 500 test kits mula South Korea

Nakatanggap ang Pilipinas ng rapid test kits mula sa South Korea at China para mabilis na masuri ang mga hinihinalang kaso ng Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

Sa isang press conference, sinabi ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na nauna nang dumating sa bansa ang 500 testing kits mula sa South Korea.

Ani Duque, may karagdagan pang 1,000 test kit na ipapadala ang South Korea.

Nagpahayag din aniya ang China na magpapadala ng 2,000 iba pa.

Inamin naman ng kalihim na bumababa na ang ginagamit na testing kits ng Research Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM) sa bansa.

Matatandaang inaprubahan ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang nagawang test kits ng National Institute of Health ng University of the Philippines (UP).
