Manila Doctors Hospital, kinumpirma na dalawang pasyente na positibo sa COVID-19 ang na-confine sa ospital
Kinumpirma ng Manila Doctors Hospital na dalawang pasyente na positibo sa Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) ang na-confine sa ospital.
Sa abiso, sinabi ng ospital na ito ay base sa inilabas na resulta noong Miyerkules, March 11.
Na-admit sa ospital ang unang pasyente na 67-anyos noong March 5.
Base sa inisyal na sintomas nito, isinailalim anila ang pasyente sa isolation habang hinihintay ang resulta ng pagsusuri ng Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).
“She succumbed to the disease prior to the release of the result from RITM on March 11, 2020,” pahayag ng ospital.
Na-confine naman ang ikalawang pasyente noong March 8.
Sa ngayon, nakasailalim din ang pasyente sa isolation at stable ang kondisyon.
Ililipat aniya ang pasyente ng ospital base na rin sa hiling ng pamilya nito.
“Prior to admission of these patients, prescribed safety protocols, appropriate and stringent measures were already in place to prevent the spread of the disease,” ayon pa sa ospital.
Samantala, tiniyak naman ng ospital na prayoridad pa rin ang kaligtasan ng kanilang mga pasyente at staff.
“Further, the hospital personnel, medical staff and other paramedical personnel who were exposed to these patients were placed under quarantine and contact tracing was done following standard guidelines by the Department of Health,” dagdag pa ng ospital.
