Gastos sa testing sa mga hinihinalang may COVID-19, aakuin na ng PhilHealth
Sasagutin na ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation o PhilHealth ang gastos sa testing ng mga pasyenteng nagpapasuri sa ospital na posibleng tinamaan ng Coronavirus Disease o COVID-19.
Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, bukod pa ito sa coverage ng PhilHealth sa quarantine at isolation costs.
Sa ngayon, inaayos na aniya ni PhilHealth President at CEO Ricardo Morale ang pagsasapormal ng bagong benepisyo.
Paliwanag pa ni Nograles, ang aalalahanin na lamang ng mga pasyenteng hinihinalang tinamaan ng COVID-19 ay ang magpagaling at hindi na ang bayarin o gastusin sa ospital.
“Given this, the last thing we want is for our citizens to worry about medical costs and expenses. Their only concern should be their well-being and the well-being of their families,” ani Nograles.
Si Nograles ay miyembro ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases na siyang nangangasiwa sa pagtugon sa COVID-19.
