Nakapagtala ng mainit na temperatura ang PAGASA sa ilang bahagi ng bansa kahapon.
Ayon sa PAGASA, ang limang lugar kung saan nakapagtala ng highest temperatures kahapon March 9 ay ang mga sumusunod:
Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya – 36.1 degrees Celsius
General Santos City – 36.0 degrees Celsius
Echague, Isabela – 35.8 degrees Celsius
Clark, Pampanga – 35.6 degrees Celsius
Camiling, Tarlac – 35.5 degrees Celsius
Sa Metro Manila, naitala ang 35.0 degrees Celsius sa PAGASA Science Garden sa Quezon City.
Ang heat index na naitala sa Quezon City ay umabot sa 39 degrees Celsius ganap na alas 3:00 ng hapon.
