Mga estudyante pinabibigyan ng assignment ng DepEd sa mga araw na suspendido ang klase

Inatasan ni Department of Education Sec. Leonor Briones ang mga guro at pamunuan ng eskwelahan sa mga lugar na nagdeklara ng suspensyon ng klase na tiyaking magpapatuloy ang learning process ng mga estudyante.

Ayon kay Briones, dapat bigyan pa rin ng assignment ng mga guro ang mga mag-aaral upang hindi masayang ang mga araw na suspendido na ang klase dahil sa COVID-19.

“DepEd officials in the field, at the regions, divisions, and schools are directed to facilitate the communication of teachers with the students and their parents, to provide the necessary assignments to continue the process of learning of the required competencies,” ayon sa statement ni Briones.

Nakatakdang magpalabas ang DepEd ng dagdag na guidelines at direktiba hinggil dito.

Kinumpirma din ni Briones na inaprubahan ni Pangulong Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng inter-agency task force na suspendihin ang klase sa Metro Manila hanggang sa Sabado, March 14.

Ayon kay Briones, magiging epektibo lamang ang ilang araw na suspensyon kung gagawin ng lokal na pamahalaan at ng mga magulang ang kanilang tungkulin na tiyaking mananatili sa mga bahay ang mga bata at hindi hahayaang lumabas at magtungo sa matataong lugar.
