Palarong Pambansa sinuspinde na rin ng DepEd

Suspendido na rin ang pagdaraos ng taunang Palarong Pambansa.

Ayon kay Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro, ang suspensyon ay kasunod ng pulong sa pagitan ng Palaro Board at iba pang DepEd officials.

Ang Marikina City dapat ang magsisilbing host ng taunang sports meet na lalahukan ng mga mag-aaral sa elementarya at high school.

Sa May 2020 dapat magaganap ang Palarong Pambansa.

Una rito, inanunsyo ng DepEd na suspendido na ang lahat ng regional at national events na nakatakda para sa buong buwan ng Marso.
