Bus drivers na mayroong multiple traffic violations bawal nang bumiyahe mula ngayong araw

Simula ngayong araw, March 9 bawal nang bumiyahe sa mga lansangan sa Metro Manila ang mga bus driver na mayroong multiple traffic violations.

Ito ay base sa napagkasunduan sa isinagawang pulong ng MMDA, LTO, LTFRB at TESDA kung saan tinalakay kung anong hakbang ang nararapat sa mga bus driver na madalas lumalabag sa batas trapiko.

Ayon kay MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia, base sa napagkasunduan, mayroong kinatawan mula sa LTO na itatalaga sa Bus Management Dispatch Offices ng MMDA.

Lahat ng driver ay sasailalim sa screening bago mapayagang bumiyahe.

Kapag sila ay kasama sa listahan ng “habitual violators” hindi na sila papayagang bumiyahe.

Ang MMDA ay mayroong Bus Management Dispatch Offices sa Baclaran, Alabang, Navotas, Valenzuela, at Fairview at iba pang lugar sa Metro Manila.

Noong nakaraang buwan, 12,000 drivers ng pampublikong sasakyan ang nakitaan ng multiple violations ng MMDA.
