MV Grand Princess dadaong sa Oakland, California

Sa Oakland, California dadaong ang MV Grand Princess na isinailalim sa quarantine matapos masawi sa sakit na COVID-19 ang isang pasahero nito.

Ngayong March 9 inaasahang darating sa Oakland ang barko na may lulang 3,500 na katao kabilang na ang mahigit 500 na Filipino Crew.

Sa sandaling makarating sa pantalan, isasagawa ang disembarkation process sa mga pasahero.

Ayon sa Office of Emergency Services ng California Government, ang lahat ng pasahero na may sintomas ng influenza ay dadalhin agad sa health care facilities.

Ang mga wala namang sintomas ay isasailalim sa isolation.

Ang mga crew naman na walang sintomas ay mananatili sa loob ng barko sa loob ng quarantine period.

Noong Biyernes ay inanunsyo na ni US Vice President Mike Pence na 21 sakay ng barko kabilang ang 19 na crew ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.
