Pangulong Duterte, aprubado na ang pag-deklara ng State of Public Health Emergency dahil sa COVID-19
Aprubado na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pag-deklara ng State of Public Health Emergency sa bansa.
Ito ay matapos irekomenda ng Department of Health (DOH) makaraang kumpirmahin ang unang kaso ng local transmission ng Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) sa bansa.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni Senator Christopher “Bong” Go na pumayag ang pangulo na ideklara ang State of Public Health Emergency dahil sa nasabing sakit.
“Pursuant to the recommendation of the DOH and my suggestion as Chair of the Senate Committee on Health, President Rodrigo Duterte has agreed to issue a declaration of a State of Public Health Emergency due to the confirmation of a local transmission of COVID-19 in our country,” ani Go.
Wala na namang inilalabas na opisyal na pahayag ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang ukol dito.
Sa huling tala ng DOH, nasa anim na ang kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa.
