Taguig gov’t, kinumpirma ang napaulat na isang kaso ng COVID-19
Kinumpirma ng pamahalaang lokal ng Taguig ang napaulat na isang kaso ng Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) sa lungsod.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni Mayor Lino Cayetano na ang pasyente ay empleyado ng Deloitte Philippines sa bahagi ng Bonifacio Global City.
Noong March 4, nagpakonsulta ang pasyente at isinailalim sa surveillance ng City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CEDSU) at na-confine sa Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) sa sumunod na araw.
Patuloy naman anilang tinututukan ang lagay ng pasyente.
Sinabi pa ng alkalde na patuloy ang isinasagawang contact tracing sa lungsod.
Samantala, sinabi naman ng St. Luke’s Medical Center na tumulong sila sa DOH sa paglilipat ng pasyente sa RITM sa Muntinlupa City.
“The patient was identified right away and exposure was limited as he did not enter the main hospital premises and main emergency room,” ayon sa ospital.
Tiniyak din nito na ginawa nila ang lahat ng protocol para masiguro ang kaligtasan ng mga pasyente at health case workers.
