Online “Sabong betting” sa Metro Manila ipinasara dahil sa hindi nabayarang mahigit P1B na buwis
Ipinatigil ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ang online betting operations ng Manila Cocckers Club Inc., dahil sa hindi nito pagbabayad ng buwis.
Ayon kay Finance Sec. Carlos Dominguez III base sa rekord ng BIR, mayroong utang na P1.3 billion ang Manila Cockers Club.
Sa ilalim ng “Oplan Kandado” ng BIR ay ipinasara ang 51 online betting machines sa 19 na outlets ng Manila Cockers Club.
Sa kabuuan ayon sa BIR, mayroong mahigit 100 na outlets ang Manila Cockers at lahat ng ito ay target mabisita ng ahensya.
