Dayuhang nagpanggap na Portuguese, inaresto ng BI sa NAIA

Inaresto ng Bureau of Immigration Travel Control and Enforcement Unit (BI TCEU) ang isang Guinean national na nagpanggap bilang Portuguese sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 noong Martes.

Nakilala ni Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente ang dayuhan na si Fatoumata Tanou Diallo, 38-anyos.

Nagtangka si Diallo na pumasok sa bansa mula sa Incheon, South Korea sa pamamagitan ng Air Asia flight bandang 4:00 ng hapon.

Ani Fortunato Manahan, Jr.,hepe ng BI Intelligence Division, napansin sa inspeksyon na hindi tugma ang facial features ni Diallo sa larawan ng iprinisintang pasaporte.

Nabigo ring magpakita si Diallo ng iba pang ID at katibayan ng pag-alis nito sa South Korea.

Nadiskubre aniya ang tunay na identity ng dayuhan matapos nitong isuko ang kaniyang Republique de Guinee passport.

Sinabi ni Manahan na kabilang na si Diallo sa blacklist ng ahensya at hindi na muling makakabalik ng bansa.

“Our officers have undergone forensic training… They are trained to detect fraud. Deceiving our officers will only get you in trouble,” babala naman ni Morente sa mga dayuhan.
