Pagpapatalsik kina Rep. Ungab at Rep. Leachon idinepensa ni Speaker Cayetano

Nagpaliwanag si House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano sa pagsipa kina Davao City Rep. Isidro Ungab bilang chairman ng House Committee on Appropriations at Oriental Mindoro Rep. Salvador “Doy” Leachon bilang head contigent ng Kamara sa House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal.

Ayon kay Cayetano, mas gusto nina Ungab at Leachon ang intriga at maraming iba pa kaysa magtrabaho kaya niya ito inalis sa posisyon.

Bukod pa aniya rito ang kanyang working relationship sa mga nasabing kongresista.

Paliwanag ng lider ng Kamara, nagbabala na siya noong nakalipas na linggo na ang mga nasa posisyon sa Mababang Kapulungan ay maari munang magbitiw sa puwesto at bumalik na lamang kapag si Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Velasco na ang House Speaker.

Sinabi nito na napili niyang ipalit sa naiwang puwesto ni Ungab si dating House Committee on Games and Amusement Chair at ACT CIS Rep. Eric Yap dahil nakita nito kung paano ito magtrabaho noong budget deliberation para sa 2020 national budget.

Naghanap din anya siya ng maari niyang makatrabaho ng mabuti gayundin ni House Deputy Speaker for Finance LRay Villafuerte at ng iba pang mga kongresista.

Depensa ni Cayetano, kahit bagito lamang si Yap ay nakita niya ang pagiging energetic nito.

Si Leachon ay pinalitan ni Kabayan Rep. Ron Salo sa HRET habang si Yap ay pinalitan ni Abra Rep. Joseph Bernos.
