Daan-daang empleyado apektado ng “business restructuring” ng PAL dahil sa COVID-19

Daan-daang empleyado ng Philippine Airlines (PAL) ang naapektuhan ng ipinatupad na “business restructuring” ng airline dahil sa epekto ng COVID-19.

Ayon sa pahayag ng PAL, nagpatupad sila ng “voluntary separation initiative” para sa matatagal na nilang mga empleyado at nagkaroon din ng “retrenchment process”.

Nagresulta ito sa pagkakatanggal sa trabaho ng nasa 300 mga ground-based personnel ng PAL.

Tiniyak naman ng PAL na makatatanggap ng karampatang separation benefits, dagdag na trip pass privilage at tulong gaya ng career counseling ang mga apektadong empleyado.

Sinabi ng PAL na makatutulong ang ipinatupad na streamlining sa mga nawala o nalugi sa kumpanya bunsod ng mga ipinatupad na travel restrictions at flight suspensions sa mga lugar na apektado ng COVID-19.
