67 distressed OFWs mula Lebanon nakauwi na ng bansa

Dumating na sa Pilipinas Huwebes (Feb. 27) ng gabi ang 67 distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) mula Lebanon.

Kasama sa mga napauwi ang 17 mga menor de edad.

Ayon kay Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Brigido Dulay, sinagot ng embahada ng Pilipinas sa Beirut ang gastos ng mga Pinoy sa pag-uwi kabilang ang board and lodging, plane tickets, immigration penalties at exit visa fees.

Samantala, ngayong araw, pauwi naman ang 14 na Pinoy na biktima ng human trafficking sa Dubai.

Sakay na ng eroplano ang mga Pinoy galing sa Dubai at inaasahang darating sa NAIA ngayong umaga.
