Pagpapatupad ng travel ban sa South Korea dahil sa COVID-19 pag-aaralan pa ng inter-agency task force

Pag-aaralan pa ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases kung palalawakin pa ang travel ban at isasama na ang South Korea.

Pahayag ito ng pamahalaan matapos magdeklara ng red alert status ang South Korea dahil sa paglobo ng bilang ng mga tinamaan ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, ina-assess pa ng Task Force ang sitwasyon ngayon sa South Korea.

Sa ngayon, wala pa namang filipino ang naiuulat na tinamaan ng COVID-19 sa South Korea ayon kay Nograles.

Mahigpit din aniyang binabantayan ng Pilipinas ang exisiting protocol ng South Korea.

Sa ngayon umiiral pa rin ang travel ban sa China habang maari nang makabiyahe ang mga Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) sa Hong Kong at Macau.
